Meet the Team

Dr. Jennifer Lees

Dr. Jennifer Lees is the founder and director of Sudbury Holistic Healing. Her experience with chiropractic care began at an early age, 15 years old when she suffered a serious gymnastic injury. She had pulled the muscles between her shoulder blades, making her scoliosis (curvature of the spine) worse. This injury caused severe “stabbing” pain in her mid-back, anxiety and TMJ pain every day for the following 12 years. Unfortunately, this injury prevented her from ever practicing gymnastics again. Dr. Lees finally found relief when she found Network Spinal Care. Upon receiving care, all of her symptoms began to heal and resolve. She is now able to enjoy a pain-free life and is more active now than she's ever been.

Education & Certification

Dr. Jennifer Lees received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. Her undergraduate degree is what has given Dr. Lees the ability to help her patients on another level because she is able to uncover hidden causes of pain that are stemming from emotional stresses instead of physical ones. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West near San Francisco, California, where she graduated with Honors and even served as a Supervising Doctor in the Outpatient Clinic. While she was in school, she was fully committed to being the absolute best in the chiropractic field, and her commitment continues to this day.

To continue to help her patients heal, Dr. Lees went on to study Network Spinal Care (NSC), Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI), Reorganizational Healing and various other modalities in order to create a truly integrated healing experience for her patients.

Her personal experience with chiropractic care has led her to discover her passion, which is to inspire, help and guide others to grow and heal. She considers it her job to help you gain full vibrant health, vitality, and ever-increasing levels of peace and happiness. With her unique style of guiding and coaching, Dr. Lees and each of her patients are able to unlock what has been causing chronic pain all these years.

Dr. Kay Sunakawa

Hello! I’m Dr. Kay Sunakawa. My Story

The reason I know that you can receive tremendous health benefits from Network Chiropractic is from my own personal experience. You see, I found chiropractic while suffering from neck and back injuries from my job as a teacher’s assistant in a school for autistic children. I went from feeling like a 70-year-old at age 22 to getting my life back. The ongoing shoulder and low back pain since early childhood disappeared, and I have more energy than I ever thought possible. Network helped clear up my brain fog, gave me more clarity, and helped me to see my life’s purpose. I never thought the anxiety I experienced in stressful situations would disappear, but it did. The experience was so profound, I just had to share it with others. Helping people like you recover from pain, stress and anxiety has become my life’s desire.

That’s why I went to study, and receive a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2016, at Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Boston University.

One of the most important parts of my chiropractic education was studying and specializing in Network Spinal Care (NSC), Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI), and Reorganizational Healing since 2012. I served as President of the Network Club, taught the technique to my colleagues, and presented the work at the first Chiropractic Technique Summit.

Helping you attain optimal health and wellness is my heart’s desire, so when you partner with me you’re working with a warm, compassionate doctor who cares deeply about you. Given the right conditions, the body has the innate ability to heal, and if you would like for me to provide the catalyst that will allow your body to do just that, it would be my greatest honor and pleasure.

When I’m not working with practice members to improve their health and wellness, I’m an avid sports fan. I love to sing, and express my creativity making jewelry, cooking, and designing floral arrangements. Spending lots of time exploring nature with my dog, Jax is one of my favorite activities.
